LEAD Scholarships

The LEAD Foundation strongly encourages students with LD and ADD/ADHD to seek out higher education and vocational training post high school. To support students with this we have three competitive scholarships:

Children's Ministry

The Dottie-Walker Scholarship

A $1,000 award given to a Colorado resident, with an identified learning disability or AD/HD, who is pursuing a post-secondary degree. The ideal candidate has faced the challenges of having a learning disability and understands the importance of advocacy and self-knowledge in overcoming those challenges. Please note LEAD Class students are excluded from applying for this award.

The LEAD Alumni Award

The LEAD Alumni Award is exclusively for LEAD Class student graduates. This award is based on academic merit, a history of self-advocacy and a belief in contributing to society in a way that will increase opportunities for others with LD.
